“Whistleblower” Law

The act of November 28, 2022, known as the “whistleblower law,” transposes and expands a European directive. This law requires companies with more than 50 employees to establish internal reporting channels, commonly referred to as ‘whistleblowing.’ There is an equivalent law for the public sector, which came into effect in January 2023, while for the private sector, compliance is required by December 17, 2023.
